What I’m Doing Now

I’m in Tucson, living in the moment, loving my last two weeks in Arizona (for now).  I spend all my time on these things: (in order of time spent)

I live a deliberate life, and spend my time doing exactly what I want to.  I am open to new experiments and adventures (if you have any ideas let me know!), but there aren’t things I want to do “someday” that I’m not doing now.  I’m not making assumptions about the desires of my future self, or that I’ll ever make it into the future.  Instead I’m living in the present, since it is the only place I’ll ever be.

Artistic integrity is important to me, so I blur the lines between what I receive income from and what I don’t.  This helps me maintain my purely intrinsic motivation.  All of what I do is “my work” because I put my heart into everything I do, and I avoid doing anything that my mind has to convince my body of.

My philosophy around my work now is most easily described by the statement; I’m going to enjoy it until I don’t enjoy it, then I’ll find something else I enjoy.

If there is anything you would like to know about me, send me a question to CharlieGriffin@email.arizona.edu. I push myself to give honest and open responses to anyone who has enough interest to write to me.

If my activities or priorities change, I’ll update this page. Last update was February 16, 2016.
